Fear has a face
A band of stray Shih-Tzus have invaded a local apartment complex. This is the rough equivalent of being invaded by France, of course - lots of yelling, stomping, but eventually bowing down and running away ensues.

I hope the "suspiciously plump" one was not friends with a bull dog!
There was a house near where I grew up that had those little yappers and let them run loose, and they were mean and angry little suckers.
